Features

All-in-One

The Aston can handle heating, cooling, and hot water assist all in one unit – no need for a noisy outdoor air conditioning unit.

Coated Air Coil

A corrosion resistant air coil increases equipment life. Its large size improves efficiency and provides better dehumidification during cooling.

Blower Motor

A variable-speed ECM blower motor allows the unit to provide even comfort, quiet operation, and amazing energy savings. Variable-speed means the fan can regulate itself to provide the most efficient form of air distribution possible. So instead of bursts of air to allow a normal furnace to "catch up," the Aston is smart enough to keep the temperature and air flow regulated at a steadier quieter rate.

Compressor

Copeland Scroll compressors are featured in all Aston products for superb efficiency and reliability. Dual capacity units include Scroll UltraTech compressors mounted on double isolation plates for extra-quiet operation. Dual capacity means the compressor can run at two speeds based on the needs of the system – the compressor may run more frequently but it will be running much more efficiently, similar to the difference between highway driving and city driving.

Hot Water Assist

With an optional hot water assist, the Aston can take water from your hot water heater, preheat it, and redeposit it into your water heater – making it so there is less work for your hot water heater and lower electric bills for your wallet.

Controls

A sophisticated microprocessor sequences components to provide ultimate performance and reliability. These controls communicate with your thermostat to display service messages so you can relax, knowing your system is performing to its highest capability.

Drain Pan

Electronic overflow protection is included to eliminate the possibility of condensate flooding. The drain pan is corrosion-proof and resists bacterial growth.

LED Status Lights

Externally mounted status lights indicate normal operation or display faults and assist in troubleshooting.

R-410A

All GeoStar units use R-410A - an environmentally friendly, non-ozone-depleting refrigerant that enhances efficiency and savings.
